Established in 1983 in New York's Chelsea neighborhood, Chelsea Frames soon distinguished itself with its unique approach to custom framing. This "neighborhood" framing shop was soon hailed by Art Business News (October 1995 issue) as being "a leading force in encouraging and supporting the art movement to Chelsea," New York's new Soho. Since then, Chelsea Frames has become a distinguished framing studio and gallery quoted in New York Magazine (June 1999) as "well worth the drive into the city."

Chelsea Frames' client base includes many leading New York art galleries (Sears Payton Gallery, Gagosian Gallery), movie production companies (recent films/series include: The Good Wife, It's Complicated..., Did you hear about the Morgans?, The Adjustment Bureau, Sex & the City II, Fringe, and a host of others, some to be released soon), architects such as Steven Gambrel, and corporate clients (Tommy Hilfiger, Todd Oldham, Polo-Ralph Lauren, Condé Nast, and many of New York's, Los Angeles', and Miami's top interior designers). However, we continue to provide services to our loyal Chelsea clientele.
